With the aid of the powerful Wintech Profiler software, the Compuset can be used to produce a variety of profiles that are limited only by your imagination. Using the software’s DXF import facility, profiles in CAD files from architects and engineers can be quickly created in foam. For example:

ease of use and versatility of setup

single wire profiling

For large shapes or low volume work, only a single wire need be loaded. Using the powerful Wintech Profiler Software, new shapes are quickly drawn and nested or existing ones loaded, and then cut. A variety of shapes can be profiled in one block.



multi-wire profiling

Most smaller profiles can be cut simultaneously with multiple hot-wires in rows. The combination of rapid setup, accuracy and speed all result in significantly higher productivity than single wire cutting.

 


single-pass profiling

Some profiles, where the top and bottom edges may fit together along a common line, can be cut in a single pass using multiple hot-wires. This not only provides a higher speed of processing, but also improved usage of the foam block.

 


sheet cutting

In addition to simple sheet cutting, the Compuset’s multiple wires can also be programmed to move up and down. This allows sheets and rectangular pieces to be cut to desired thickness and length in one simple process.

new wintech console cabinet

All Wintech machines have a Console Cabinet, configured to incorporate several significant design improvements introduced to comply with recent amendments to Electro- Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) and CE regulations. These improvements include:

  • Integrating the computer and screen into the cabinet, resulting in a more streamlined unit. Improvements to the Profiler software program now generate feedback from the machine to the LCD display screen, so operators can quickly access fault finding screens while stationed at the console.
  • Changing a number of components in the cabinet, to ensure strict compliance with international requirements. Many of these components are smaller which, in addition to freeing up space within the cabinet, are also less expensive. This cost saving is being passed on to the buyer.
  • Reducing the number of switches on the front panel of the cabinet, leaving only switches that are essential to the operation of the machine. Where appropriate, the other switches have been incorporated into the software or removed. about
  • Providing under-table storage to give the operator increased storage capacity.

The result is a more ergonomic and enhanced unit, designed for superior operator comfort and improved machine performance.

Optional items that can be fitted to the new console cabinet include a remote handset (cordless) for easier and safer operation of the machine, and an air-conditioning unit for the cabinet to optimise its performance
