the powerful, user-friendly software to complement the flexibility and the power of the wintech contour cutting machines

Wintech’s Profiler Software provides truly integrated foam profiling design and production capability. Using a graphical design environment, the software marries ease of use with many powerful design features.

The software is the culmination of 15 years of Wintech’s experience in not just producing state of the art foam profiling machines, but also the software to drive them effectively.

Wintech’s design philosophy has always ensured ease of use. The Profiler Software is equally at home on the production floor, the design office or used for quoting. As such, users do not need to be computer professionals to gain the benefit of the software’s many features, avoiding the need for lengthy retraining and allowing them to focus on their jobs.

Unlike other design packages, Wintech’s Profiler Software has been created specifically for use in foam profiling, endowing it with many useful features.

Digitiser Interface - Providing Simple To Use Manual Input

Using an optional digitiser tablet, you may convert your old template shapes or customer’s sketches into Profiler drawings by simply tracing around them. The innovative Profiler Software even allows you to digitise shapes larger than the tablet itself.

The Wintech Profiler Software supports digitiser tablet sizes ranging from 300mm x 460mm (12” x 18”) to 910mm x 1220mm (36” x 48”).

FIVE SIMPLE STEPS TO CUTTING

Step 1

The original design is drawn into the computer by digitising with a digitiser tablet or freehand using a mouse.

For certain shapes such as pipe sections, simply enter the shape’s parameters and it is automatically generated by the program. Drawings made on other computer systems can be loaded directly using standard file formats.

Step 2

When the drawing is generated, the Wintech software automatically “nests” the shape into the specified sized block.

You can easily adjust this nesting configuration to further optimise block utilisation. The screen depicts a section of the block showing a series of 3 rows and 2 columns of the configuration.

Step 3

Nesting information is constantly updated on the screen, providing immediate feedback as to the best arrangement.

With the click of a button, the shape is saved to disk for later retrieval on this computer or transfer to another computer.

The computer’s graphical style interface allows you to sort your drawings into folders by customer, job, product or any other grouping, simplifying drawing management, retrieval and archiving.

Step 4

Costing information for the profile can be calculated on screen. Material and labour costs can be entered to provide the total production costing. Alternatively, enter your charge-out rates to calculate the cost to the customer.

Hard copies can be printed out for customer approval or documentation purposes.

Step 5

To cut the shape, select the Cutting Option to send the cutting commands to the machine. You can cut just one sample, a specific quantity of the shapes or an entire block of the shapes.

Use the remote handset control to move the cutting head to the starting position and start the machine.

The machine will then run without operator attention to cut the shapes exactly to your specification.
